Overall Job Summary
The Manager Trainee is responsible for learning the duties of the Store Manager position and developing the skills required for a Store Manager role. Primary duties include delivering a Legendary Customer Experience, building the team, driving sales, managing inventory, managing profit and sales, expense control, reducing and managing shrink.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Manager Trainee, you will observe and learn duties such as recruiting, hiring, developing, evaluating, disciplining, and retaining team members; delivering Legendary Customer Service through GURA; fostering a welcoming environment emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion; scheduling and organizing daily activities; leading team members; communicating policies; problem solving; learning sales and profit management; promoting safety; managing merchandise flow and resets; coordinating special projects; and developing team members. You will also be trained in budgeting, inventory management, and completing paperwork.

Required Qualifications
Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. Supervisory experience is a plus. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Agricultural-Science or Business preferred.

Preferred Skills and Abilities
Valid driver's license; proficiency with POS and system processing; ability to read, write, and count accurately; ability to access all store areas; operate store equipment; lift up to 50 lbs.; work varied hours including weekends; travel as needed; stand and walk for extended periods.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Normal office conditions; physical activities include standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, reaching, driving, and lifting.
