Job Details

Provides support in the Carpentry sign shop in Facilities Services. Primary Responsibilities Creates vinyl signs, banners, office signs, way finding signs, plaques, name plates, laminated signs, drawings, and maps. Uses all manners of software to create and manufacture signs including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flex, Dr. Engrave, Versa Works, Onyx and Microsoft Office Suite. Uses multiple machines to manufacture signs including vinyl print and cut, color poster printer, CNC engraving machine, standard laser large format printer, and laminating equipment. Must be able to apply vinyl in flat work applications. Responsible for installing all manner of signs and banners. Must be able to design, purchase, and install ADA signage. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications and use the computerized Maintenance Management System with work orders to allocate time and document work daily.
