Dollar General - - Responsibilities: Manage Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, and dairy, frozen food, bread, and thaw and sell bakery products; Assist Store Manager with inventory management, merchandising presentation and customer service; Train associates in proper handling, stocking, and rotation of perishable products and in pricing standards; Record Perishable Markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences; Ensure sanitation standards and safety guidelines are followed in Perishable departments
