REMOTE OPPORTUNITY - WORK FROM ANYWHERE
We are hiring an experienced Loan Partner / Processor Hybrid to work directly alongside our top-producing mortgage broker to guide applicants through the mortgage loan process.
This role serves as the operational backbone of the business. The right candidate will take ownership of files from application through closing, communicate with borrowers and lenders, and ensure loans move smoothly and efficiently through the process. This is a high-trust role for someone who can operate independently, take initiative, and keep the pipeline moving without constant oversight.
Evening and weekend coverage is sometimes required. This is handled through a shared on-call schedule so everyone has time off. You are not expected to sit at your desk outside business hours, but when on call, you will be responsible for answering and addressing incoming borrower needs.

Responsibilities
Loan Partner & Processing
• Take loan applications by phone or online and structure the appropriate mortgage product based on borrower qualifications and guidelines
• Prepare pricing scenarios, formal estimates, and schedule borrower presentations to review options
• Complete income calculations and review borrower documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Gather and coordinate documentation required for underwriting and submit complete loan files
• Manage files through underwriting, clear conditions, complete verifications, balance closing figures, schedule closings, and manage post closing tasks
• Ensure LOS, lender portals, CRM, and other systems remain accurate and consistent across all files
Client & Pipeline Communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan process
• Maintain regular phone communication with active leads, loans in process, and database contacts to ensure timely follow-up and strong client relationships
• Conduct weekly follow-up calls with borrowers and prospects to move applications forward and keep the pipeline active
• Communicate with lenders, underwriters, and third parties to keep loans progressing smoothly
Pipeline & Operations Management
• Manage and track loan milestones and deadlines to ensure files move efficiently from application through closing
• Maintain clear communication with the Broker Owner regarding pipeline status
• Assist with tracking production volume, goals, and compensation metrics
Administrative & Business Support
• Manage team email, answer calls, schedule appointments, and provide general operational support
• Maintain records and assist with compliance requirements
• Utilize CRM to ensure clients are on appropriate journeys and that the database remains actively engaged
• Assist with closing gifts and expense tracking
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry guidelines and regulations
Qualifications
• An active NMLS license and Colorado Mortgage Loan Originator license required
• Minimum 5 years of mortgage experience assisting with, originating, and/or processing residential loans
• Experience working in a mortgage broker environment preferred
• Advanced understanding of mortgage products, lending processes, and underwriting guidelines
• Experience taking loan applications and managing files from application through closing
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Proficient with mortgage lending systems and technology (LOS, CRM, lender portals)
• Experience with ARIVE strongly preferred
• Comfortable working flexible hours including occasional evening and weekend on call coverage
