Senior Director, IT - SAP & Enterprise Platforms/Infrastructure/Security
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Salary: 185-215K + 20%

Salary: Open and will commensurate on experience. IT SAP leadership within regulated or life sciences environments, digital transformation strategy, and experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations. This person will also own the infrastructure and security team.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise IT across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and SAP platforms supporting U.S. business operations.
• Define and execute the regional IT strategy aligned with global digital and enterprise technology roadmaps.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on enterprise systems, digital innovation, and IT strategy.
• Lead the SAP ecosystem, including SAP S/4HANA and integrated enterprise applications supporting finance, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
• Drive ERP modernization initiatives and enterprise transformation programs in partnership with global IT leadership.
• Ensure all technology platforms meet regulated industry requirements, including GxP compliance and Computer System Validation standards.
• Support technology solutions enabling pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality management, supply chain distribution, and commercial engagement platforms.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives including data platforms, analytics, automation, and intelligent process optimization.
• Establish strong IT governance frameworks including portfolio management, risk mitigation, cybersecurity, and data protection practices.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure systems support regulatory inspections and internal audits.
• Build high-performing IT teams while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Manage relationships with enterprise technology partners, SAP vendors, and strategic system integrators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Extensive SAP leadership experience including ERP transformation initiatives and SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience supporting enterprise technology platforms across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and commercial operations.
• Experience within regulated industries, ideally life sciences or pharmaceuticals.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, SAP ERP environments, and integrated business systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies, enterprise integration frameworks, and modern data platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives and enterprise change programs.
• Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional and global leadership teams.
