Backed by a 7-year-old investment firm with an entrepreneurial approach to building scalable service businesses, they are focused on creating a mitigation-first growth engine across multiple U.S. markets.

The company is building a network of high-performing mitigation outposts designed to deliver fast, reliable response to residential property damage events. The platform will prioritize operational discipline, speed to customer, and strong field leadership to drive growth across new and emerging markets.

This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor of a rapidly scaling restoration platform and help build the operational playbook that will shape its national expansion.

About the Position

The National Director of Operations (Restoration) will play a key leadership role in launching, supporting, and scaling residential mitigation services across new markets.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution. The right candidate can think at the platform level while also diving into the practical realities of building restoration operations in new markets.

This individual will help establish new mitigation outposts, recruit and coach market leaders, refine the operating playbook, and drive operational performance across the network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of the company's mitigation outpost expansion strategy
  • Help determine market prioritization and launch sequencing
  • Recruit, train, and coach local market/outpost leaders
  • Travel frequently to support new market launches and operational stabilization
  • Develop and refine:
    • operating playbooks
    • SOPs
    • performance scorecards
    • training and accountability rhythms
  • Coordinate launch logistics including:
    • trucks and vans
    • mitigation equipment
    • vehicle wraps and branding
    • warehouse/storage space
    • insurance setup
    • basic field infrastructure
  • Drive KPI accountability across markets including:
    • job volume
    • revenue
    • gross profit
    • speed-to-lead
    • speed-to-site
    • conversion rates
  • Partner with leadership and marketing teams to support lead generation and growth
  • Provide field support and coaching when operational issues arise
Requirements

Experience
  • Significant experience in the restoration industry
  • Strong background in mitigation services
  • Proven accountability for branch, market, or regional performance
  • Experience across multiple restoration functions such as:
    • mitigation
    • estimating
    • project management
    • large loss
    • field operations
    • team leadership and coaching
  • Experience launching or stabilizing new branches or markets is highly preferred
Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong candidates may include:
  • Former General Manager, Regional GM, Director of Operations, Regional Director, or similar
  • A high-performing branch leader ready to step into a larger leadership role
  • Operators with deep field credibility who understand how restoration businesses actually run
Additional Requirements
  • Residential restoration experience required
  • Strong mitigation experience required
  • Operations and sales experience
  • Industry relationships with insurance carriers, plumbers, contractors, or subcontractors are a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50%+
Benefits
  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $180,000+
