About the position

As the Sales Support Representative for the North American Markets, you will play a critical role in the future growth of Maurten and help us strengthen our brand connection on a global level. Under the guidance of the Head of Customer and Commercial Excellence, you will be directly supporting the Maurten Sales Team through performing intradepartmental administrative tasks to assist Market Leads with regional sales growth. In addition, you will serve as an extension of the regional sales team, working cross-departmentally with multiple teams at Maurten to support an array of sales functions. The priority of this work is to serve athletes throughout the sales cycle and continue to establish Maurten as the premier global sport nutrition brand.

Job responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day of sales operations for the North American markets.

  • Order Management
    • Regular collaboration with warehouses and global logistics team to assist with order fulfillment.
    • Assisting with review of order statuses to identify errors in the fulfillment process
    • Order processing in cases where manual input is needed.
    • Tracking high priority orders and shipment progress when needed.
  • Product Management
    • Work closely with the global logistics team to understand product transport timelines in relation with inventory status for the US and Canada warehouses. Pass this information through to relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist with review of regional product forecasts vs sales to identify potential inventory concerns
  • Data Management
    • Support the North American Market Leads with customer data management across our platforms.
    • Assist with management of market-relevant price lists.
  • Customer Service
    • Manage customer inquiries in the regional sales email
    • Assist Market Leads with administrative tasks related to customer inquiries
  • Customer and Commercial Excellence Team Support
    • Work closely with our European and UK Sales Support to identify global trends and areas for improvement.
    • Provide global sales support during teammates holiday and vacation periods.
  • Event Support
    • Attend North America based global event expos as needed to support sales efforts
Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you are an organized planner with a demonstrated history of successful project management and can keep focus on key priorities. You are an excellent communicator and team player with ability to work effectively with all members of the organization as well as external stakeholders. You possess the ability to work independently yet with a global mindset, with respect and understanding of diverse cultures and values. You embrace change, have a solutions-oriented approach and entrepreneurial thinking abilities. Furthermore, you are comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment that often requires handling multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar in a relevant field
  • 1-2 years professional experience in sales operations, customer success, or managing client accounts
  • Previous experience cross departmental collaboration
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Willingness to travel 10%
Preferred Experience:
  • Sales operations, customer success, or managing client accounts specifically within the consumer goods industry
  • ERP, Business Central preferred
  • CRM, Salesforce preferred
  • PowerBI

This is a remote position based in the US. Ideal candidate will be located in eastern or central time zones to accommodate consistent work with colleagues in Europe.
