Note: This role is located in Cary, NC and follows a hybrid work model, requiring 2-3 days onsite each week. The position is available to eligible candidates based in the North Carolina, United States only.

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM / SAM Pro) on the ServiceNow platform.

The consultant will engage in enterprise customer projects and manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets-from procurement to retirement-while maintaining compliance, governance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ServiceNow ITAM solutions (HAM & SAM / SAM Pro)
• Manage end-to-end asset lifecycle including request, procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement
• Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventory
• Ensure software license compliance, normalization, reconciliation, and optimization
• Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with CMDB, Discovery, SCCM, JAMF, Intune, Flexera, and other tools
• Build dashboards, reports, and asset compliance metrics
• Support IT asset audits and governance processes
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Audit teams

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM
• Experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM / SAM Pro)
• Experience with CMDB and ServiceNow Discovery
• Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management
• Experience with ServiceNow configuration and scripting (Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes)
• Strong stakeholder management skills

Certifications (Required / Preferred):-

Required:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Preferred:

• CIS - Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
• CIS - Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM)
• ITIL Foundation
