Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Reporting& Analytics Specialist with expertise in SSRS, Power BI, and ETL processes to support enterprise reporting needs within a complex, data-driven environment. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, technical teams, and subject matter experts to gather, validate, and translate reporting requirements into scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, the ability to convert business needs into technical specifications, and a solid understanding of structured data and reporting workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards to support operational and business reporting needs
• Perform data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization optimization in Power BI
• Ensure reporting solutions meet standards for accuracy, performance, security, and usability

• Support ETL processes, including requirements gathering, data mapping, validation, and quality assurance
• Partner with data engineering teams to align data pipelines with reporting requirements
• Validate data integrity across multiple source systems

• Work with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications
• Provide ongoing clarification and ensure alignment between stakeholders and development teams

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Review deliverables to ensure accuracy and alignment with requirements
• Support prioritization, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing across teams

• Perform testing and validation of reports, dashboards, and data outputs
• Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards
• Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data definitions, and business logic

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 3-7 years of experience in reporting and analytics roles
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)
  • SQL scripting and database querying
  • ETL processes (SSIS or similar tools)
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with distributed or cross-functional technical teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills

• Experience working with complex, regulated datasets or industries
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or similar)
