31E Correction/Detention Specialist

Job Overview:

As a Corrections/Detention Specialist, you'll be mainly responsiblefor overseeing the day-to-day operations in a military correctionalfacility or detention facility. Additionally, you'll offer counselingand guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitativeprogram.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen

• 17 to 34 Years Old

• High School Diploma or GED

• Meet Tattoo Guidelines

• No Major Law Violations

• No Medical Concerns

Testing & Certifications

• 26 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available

• 10 weeks of Basic Training

• 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training

• 91 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST)
