NetApp Storage Administrator

Description:

Work across diverse, crossfunctional environments supporting engineering initiatives such as configuration, deployment, migration, and administration of storage systems.
Partner with internal teams and endclients to assess needs, deliver technical solutions, and ensure operational stability.
Execute handson storage engineering tasks-installations, upgrades, proofofconcepts, and documentation across multiple environments.
Support a variety of storage infrastructures (SAN, NAS, cloud, network, servers) while ensuring bestpractice performance and reliability.
Provide multitier support, troubleshoot complex issues, and present technical findings or solution recommendations to engineering and operations teams.
Travel to various sites as needed to deliver onsite engineering, deployment, and support services.

Required Skills & Experience

Handson experience with NetApp technologies (ONTAP, CDOT, 7Mode, OnCommand, ActiveIQ, etc.) and associated hardware, switches, and deployment practices.
Proficient with Unix/Linux and Windows OS, as well as core protocols such as NFS, CIFS, DFS, NIS, and Active Directory.
Demonstrated experience in storage capacity planning, monitoring, data migration projects, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with datacenter operations, including racking/stacking, cabling, and collaborating across infrastructure teams.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and fully document designs, diagrams, and test plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both engineering and operations audiences.
