Lead IAM Engineer (FULLY REMOTE)Location: Anywhere in the United States (Remote)Employment Type: ContractThis position leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions. The role involves reviewing system, user, and administrative access for enterprise applications and platforms. The Lead IAM Engineer will guide cross‑functional teams through the entire implementation process of scalable and stable technology solutions to meet business identity access needs, with primary focus on the implementation and operations of CyberArk Conjur.Key ResponsibilitiesEnforce policies and procedures related to identity lifecycle management using IAM technical best practices.Analyze, design, develop, implement, and support identity‑related areas of software applications and identity governance.Lead team discussions on Conjur best practices and work with internal application teams for successful onboarding.Review documentation of IAM technical requirements, designs, infrastructure, and support processes.Liaise with information security, risk management, infrastructure, and architecture teams to implement end‑to‑end IAM solutions.Lead the development of overall IAM technical strategies, designs, standards, and procedures.Perform coding, configuring, testing, and documentation of developments in the IAM landscape.Troubleshoot and solve a wide variety of security‑focused IAM issues.Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.Required QualificationsEducation: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.Experience: 5–7 years of related experience is required.Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Active Directory, networking, and DR/HA; scripting/coding knowledge with PowerShell, Python, or Bash; understanding of IAM concepts, Identity Lifecycle, and Structured Agile Framework. Experience with CyberArk Conjur (2–3 years) and Active Directory (3–5 years) is necessary.Certifications: Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) required within 120 days of starting.Preferred QualificationsExperience leading team discussions.Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, or Docker.Ability to communicate with application development teams.Certifications such as Certified Identity and Security Technologist (CIST), Certified Access Management Specialist (CAMS), CyberArk Defender, Sentry or Guardian, CyberArk Conjur, or CompTIA Security+.Compensation & BenefitsPay Rate: $75.00/hr – $80.00/hr. The specific rate will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
