Personal Injury & Client Services Specialist (Remote)

Envision Radiology is seeking a Personal Injury & Client Services Specialist to join our team! Remote | Monday - Friday business hours | Position Pay Range $18.84 - $22.70

The Personal Injury & Client Services Specialist generates statements and other invoices. Responsibilities may include data entry, posting payments, reconciling billings and invoices, checking balances and maintaining direct bill files. Works with direct bill companies to perform billing, review, and verification of accounts in accordance with program provisions.

Essential Functions

• Creates and maintains new direct bill contracts.
• Produces vendor invoices.
• Sends invoices to vendors for payment, posts payments, and researches for past due payments.
• Ensures accuracy of contract rates into billing software systems.
• Produces monthly invoicing of all direct bill contracts.
• Reviews payment posting and credit balances of all accounts.
• Recognizes outstanding balances over 90 days and promptly resolves.
• Identifies and resolves issues from internal and external vendors.
• Communicates issues with the Revenue Cycle Management team.
• Other duties as assigned

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear.

No travel is expected for this position.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

• 2 years of experience working in the medical billing field
• Knowledge of EOBs, contracts, invoices and accounts receivables
• Attention to detail
• Ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently

Education / Certifications:

• Requires a high school education or equivalent
