Supports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations. Compensation: $15.94/hr. Shift: Sun-Tues 0600-1800, Wed 1200-1800. Responsibilities include maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property, and providing supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications, strong vision abilities, ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person, valid driver's license, and previous work experience with the public in a service setting.
Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking for variable amounts of time, use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching, lifting and/or moving objects 25 pounds or more, and specific vision abilities required by the job.
