Works with the Assistant Athletic Director for Academics in all areas of academic support and monitoring of NCAA eligibility for student-athletes. Primary Responsibilities Conducts comprehensive academic advising and oversees academic support programs. Supervises academic success coaches/learning specialist and oversees academic plans for student-athletes. Monitors and tracks athletic eligibility and student-athlete academic progress and works with on campus advisors to ensure progress toward graduation for student-athletes. Oversees the textbook rental process and acts as the liaison between Athletics and the University Bookstore. Assists in the development of student-athlete orientation, career, personal and professional development programs. Acts as a liaison between student-athletes and faculty, academic departments, and student services personnel across campus.
