The Student Assistant for New Student Onboarding & Transition Programs (SOTP) supports the planning, coordination, and execution of onboarding initiatives for incoming students, including Bearkat Kickoff (BKO). This role provides administrative, operational, and event support to ensure a welcoming and organized transition experience for new students. Primary Responsibilities Assist with event preparation and coordination of Bearkat Kickoff and New Student Onboarding planning efforts Provide front-facing office support, answering questions from students and families regarding the SHSU new student onboarding process (phone, Zoom, email, in-person) Develop engaging digital content that can be shared across various online/social media platforms (website, videos, flyers, Instagram/ Facebook, etc.) Take photos and/or videos for Bearkat Kickoff and New Student Onboarding events/programs Preferred Skills & Experience Familiarity with SHSU campus resources, services, and support systems Extreme...Onboarding, Marketing Coordinator, Student, Program, Marketing, Coordinator, Education, Business Services
